ES Amplifiers / Tuners / Surround Processor — October 1987

Sony’s Japanese ES catalog features integrated amplifiers, FM/AM tuners and the SDP-777ES surround processor. Internal layouts, comparison tables and Dolby Pro Logic material show the meeting of two-channel hi-fi and home AV. The back cover dates the contents to October 1987; amplifier specifications explicitly state AC100V, 50/60Hz. The available PDF contains eight scanned sheets, including facing-page spreads. CD and DAT appear as source-system context, not as a complete CD/DAT product lineup.
